- Using the Advantage automation system, baskets are supported from overhead. By eliminating support structures below the basket which absorb enormous amounts of ultrasonic energy, parts are cleaned faster and more effectively.
- Since parts can be agitated through the surface of the fluid, cavities, blind holes, and other detailed areas of parts are filled and drained repeatedly which serves to flush loosened contaminants from these areas and improve air pocket release.
- Since the drying cycle is typically long in any aqueous ultrasonic cleaning operation, it tends to dictate how many baskets are processed in a given time frame. By including a 2-position dryer tunnel, the drying bottleneck is eliminated.
- When parts are lifted from the ultrasonic cleaning tank, any floating contaminants can re-deposit onto parts. This aerospace parts washer provides features which remove these floating contaminants before parts are lifted from the tank.
- In many cases, parts cannot be positioned in a position which releases all air from blind holes and other detailed areas. These pockets will prevent ultrasonic cleaning in these areas.
