Ultrasonic Metal Strip Cleaners for Reel-to-Reel Strip Washing Applications
Zenith Ultrasonics has a full line of ultrasonic metal strip cleaners that are designed for un-stamped strip or material that undergoes a progressive stamping operation that includes complex shapes, folds, and other detail that is difficult or impossible to clean using spray washing equipment. These systems were designed in conjunction with NJIT and input from a number of metal strip manufacturers to ensure that the systems would be capable of cleaning metal strip to medical-quality standards with cost-effective machinery that is very easy to maintain when compared to spray washing equipment designed for the same purpose. While the industry has used spray washing as a standard for decades, these systems simply cannot match the performance and ease-of-maintenance of our metal strip cleaners, the systems will not damage even the most sensitive strip designs, and are capable of removing oils from all areas of the product, even metal folds where stamping lubricants or coolants can become trapped.
SSS-690 Ultrasonic Metal Strip Cleaner
This system is a shortened-version of our SSS-960 system which includes the same ultrasonic cleaning chamber length but replaces the ultrasonic rinsing operation with a spray rinse . This system is adequate for most industrial-grade strip cleaning applications up to 30 feet/min.

SSS-960 Ultrasonic Strip Cleaner
Zenith’s most popular strip cleaning option and the machine that started it all, the SSS-960 is capable of cleaning strip materials to medical-quality standards when properly equipped with a deionization system at speeds up to 85 feet/min depending upon the design of the material being cleaned.

SSS-132 Ultrasonic Strip Washer
With its double-length ultrasonic cleaning chamber, the SSS-132 is capable of cleaning at much higher speeds than either of our 2 smaller systems. Material passes through horizontally without redirection and can be used for many applications from 350-700fpm.
