Low-cost Automated System when Zero Residue is Not Required
When your parts do not require zero-residue cleaning results, or you are cleaning steel parts that require a rust preventative to prevent rusting of your parts after cleaning is complete, the Astro is an excellent choice. These systems include a single ultrasonic cleaning tank that is filled with an aqueous detergent that has built-in rust inhibitors to prevent rusting, and a drying tank to dry the parts.
Parts are placed onto the load conveyor and a recipe of operation is selected. Parts are then transferred into the cleaning tank where they are ultrasonically-cleaned while simultaneously being intermittently agitated to flush loosened contaminants from blind holes or other recessed areas. When cleaning is complete, the parts are automatically transferred to the drying tank where the high-efficiency heated environment will rapidly dry the parts before being ejected onto the unload conveyor.
Systems include programmable Recipes of Operation for different part designs, high-resolution color touch-screen HMI with remote login capabilities, digital heating systems, filtration system for the cleaning tank, and host of other standard features. Many options are available to customize the system to suit your specific needs.
If your firm is in need of a low-cost automated cleaning system with a small footprint for pre-cleaning operations, the Astro may be your best option.
